Occupation of forest lands by tribals is another problem faced while protecting forest lands. The landless Tribals (Aadivasis)  occupying forest lands  claim for regularization of their possession in terms of instructions issued by the Government. State Government directed to appoint responsible officers to examine claims of Aadivasis who are in possession of such lands and decide their claims for regularization.
