Hazardous Waste Management. - Supreme Court has appointed a Monitoring Committee for proper management of hazardous wastes management. They have also constituted local area monitoring committees for the implementation of the said Rules. Harsh steps taken for implementation are thus causing difficulties to the industries which are violating the Rules. It is challenged and orders are issued.
